Our system of justice should protect Good Samaritans and those who protect innocent lives around them.

Mr. Penny bravely stood in the gap to defy a corrupt system and protect his fellow Americans.

The FBI has a budget of $11 billion, yet they only spend $500K on counter-drone tech.

Worse, they couldn't identify the source of massive drones over NJ and NY.

Their failure to combat modern threats is disgraceful especially considering their assault on American liberties.

This Congress, through casework, my team worked to return more than $2.4 million to constituents of AZ-02.

Proud to get these funds out of the hands of an irresponsible federal government and back into the pockets of hardworking Arizonans.

Got to listen to these guys talk about their plans to slash fraud, waste and abuse from the federal government.

Unfortunately many people in the room will end up being the biggest obstacles to the success of DOGE.

It did give me hope that the richest man in the world (who has said he will play in primaries in coming electoral cycles) said they would be making a “Naughty and Nice” list of those who get in the way of their efforts.

The Good Samaritan Remediation of Abandoned Hardrock Mines Act, a bill introduced by Rep. Celeste Maloy (R-UT), passed out of the House last week.

The bill encourages responsible mine clean up and is a commonsense solution for rural Arizona.

Pete Hegseth will rid our military of the woke agenda, dismantle DEI, & return our focus to lethality.

He's a combat vet, but he's also an outsider, which spooks the Military Industrial Complex.

The Senate GOP must face the fact that America gave President Trump a mandate.

COSPONSORED & COSIGNED:

  • Cosigned Letter Advocating for a Fiscally Responsible Budget Next Congress: Congressman Crane joined Rep. Self (R-TX) in writing a letter to Speaker Johnson, advocating for prioritizing fiscal conservatism and spending reductions in the FY 2026 appropriations process. As you may know, government has grown so large that the activities of hundreds of the federal government’s agencies are beyond the knowledge and understanding of its citizens. In fact, the federal government has grown to such an enormous, overreaching extent that our representatives in Congress cannot adequately oversee and control its activities. By signing this letter, the Congressman puts Leadership on notice that it is imperative for lawmakers to get the nation’s finances in order immediately by applying a fiscally conservative approach to federal spending.

SUPPORTED:

  • H.R. 7673 – Liberty in Laundry: The Congressman SUPPORTED this legislation, which protects Americans’ access to affordable, quality home appliances by prohibiting the Secretary of Energy from prescribing or enforcing energy efficiency standards for washing machines. As you may know, in pursuit of their radical, Green New Deal Agenda, the Biden-Harris Administration has issued energy efficiency rules for appliances that drive up costs and reduce reliability. However, according to the Department of Energy’s (DOE) own analysis, efficiency mandates for washing machines would save as little as nine dollars for certain models over the average lifetime for the appliance, which is estimated to be 13.4 years. The Congressman believes that hardworking Americans, not faceless Washington bureaucrats, should be able to choose what appliances best fit the needs of their families. By voting in favor, the Congressman reduces costs for American families and protects consumer choice.

  • S. 4199 – Judicial Understaffing Delays Getting Emergencies Solved Act: The Congressman SUPPORTED this legislation, which expands U.S. district judgeships in a neutral, nonpartisan manner to keep up with significant backlogs in civil and criminal cases that have left district judges overburdened and decisions on cases significantly delayed. Specifically, the bill authorizes 63 new permanent district court judgeships and three new temporary court judgeships, including 2 new federal judges in Arizona’s district. As you may know, the federal judiciary has 677 district court judgeships. No new judgeships have been authorized in over 20 years despite a dramatic increase in case fillings during that same period. Specifically, civil case filings have grown from roughly 250,000 to 340,000, and the number of pending civil cases has risen from approximately 260,000 to more than 640,000. By voting in favor, the Congressman votes to ease burdens on federal courts, promote efficiency, and improve access to justice for Americans across the country.

OPPOSED:

  • S.Amdt. to H.R. 5009: The Congressman OPPOSED this legislation, the conferenced version of the National Defense Authorization Act, 2025, which failed to eliminate DEI positions, such as the Chief Diversity Officer, and did not end Pentagon-funded sex-change surgeries for servicemembers. As you may know, the NDAA typically authorizes funding and programs to support the readiness and lethality of our military. While the bill adhered to spending caps in law and made some strides to restore mission focus at the Pentagon, the Congressman could not turn a blind eye to the pork included in this bill which is only supposed to encapsulate our national security needs. By voting in favor, the Congressman seeks to protect the military from being injected with woke politics.

EXCLUSIVE: Biden Races To Sell Off Border Wall Parts Before Trump Takes Office

The Daily Wire

Key Excerpts:

  • The Biden administration is using its final weeks to haul a massive amount of border wall materials away from the southern border to be sold off in a government auction, an apparent effort to hinder President-elect Donald Trump’s effort to secure the border, The Daily Wire has learned.

  • Videos obtained exclusively by The Daily Wire from a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agent show unused sections of the wall being hauled away on the back of flatbed trucks from a section of the border just south of Tucson, a hotspot for illegal crossings during the Biden administration.

  • The agent estimates that up to half a mile per day of unused border wall is being moved.

  • “They are taking it from three stations: Nogales, Tucson, and Three Points,” the border patrol agent, who was granted anonymity to speak freely, told The Daily Wire. “The goal is to move all of it off the border before Christmas.”

  • Trump made clear during his campaign that he intends to finish construction of the border wall, making use of the materials that have remained untouched at the border since President Joe Biden took office in 2021.

  • If the material brought to the border during his first term is sold off, it will significantly delay any progress on one of Trump’s flagship campaign promises at the border.

  • The government contractor, DP Trucking LLC, is transporting the pieces of the wall north on Interstate 19 to Pinal Airpark in Marana, Arizona, where it is being auctioned through GovPlanet, a surplus government equipment auction marketplace.

  • “They just started taking all the wall that was not used, which is still totally good and usable, and they started taking it northbound,” the agent said. “They’re pulling it all off the border.”

  • Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ), whose congressional district borders the Pinal Airpark where the material is being sold, said the Biden administration is “purposefully hamstringing” Trump before he takes office.

  • “The Biden Administration is well aware they shouldn’t have reversed the construction of the border wall. If it’s true, they’re purposefully hamstringing an incoming president, it wouldn’t be shocking,” Crane told The Daily Wire. “Why would they want to see President Trump succeed with policies they aggressively sabotaged?”

  • The long-time border patrol agent has seen political fights play out over the border before, and believes that the Biden administration is trying to stymie Trump’s ability to quickly secure the border as soon as he returns to office.

  • Crane, the Arizona congressman, says the last-minute fire sale by the Biden administration is “a direct affront to the will of the people.”

  • “The American people gave President Trump a mandate in November, which included the fulfillment of his plans to secure the border,” Crane said. “Any last-ditch attempt to obstruct this mandate by the Biden Administration would be a direct affront to the will of the people.”

'Warrior whose vote cannot be bought': Hundreds of vets pour out in support of Tulsi Gabbard for DNI

Fox News

Key Excerpts:

  • Hundreds of veterans across the nation are offering their unequivocal support to former Democrat Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard as director of national intelligence under President-elect Donald Trump’s second administration, Fox News Digital has learned.

  • "President Donald Trump’s selection of Tulsi Gabbard reflects a profound recognition of her steadfast dedication to our nation and her unwavering commitment to safeguarding the American people. While most Americans know Tulsi as a fearless and principled Congresswoman who stood up to entrenched political systems, we know her as a fellow veteran—one whose worldview was forged through the crucible of serving in combat zones and a lifelong devotion to service," reads a letter, "American Veterans for Tulsi Gabbard," which was published Monday and obtained by Fox News Digital.

  • More than 250 veterans signed the letter, including high-profile and nationally known names such as retired Gen. Michael Flynn, former acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller, Arizona Rep. Rep. Eli Crane, Florida Rep. Brian Mast and political commentator Jack Posobiec.

  • "Because of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks, Tulsi answered the call of duty, enlisted in the Army, and stepped away from her position as a Hawaii State Representative when she volunteered to deploy to Iraq with her unit. Instead of using her political status to avoid deployment, Tulsi volunteered to serve in a medical unit in Iraq, directly facing the harsh realities, costs, and traumas of war," the letter continues.

  • "Her commitment to service did not end there," it added, before pointing to Gabbard’s 22 years of standing "shoulder-to-shoulder with her fellow servicemembers," including when she served in the House.

  • "As a Member of Congress and as a civilian, Tulsi has been a stalwart advocate for veterans' health concerning toxic exposures and cancer care as a result of our fellow veterans' military service. Tulsi’s life exemplifies a rare blend of selflessness, courage, and leadership—qualities desperately needed to reform and strengthen our intelligence community," the letter says.

  • Nearly 70% of the veterans who signed the letter worked in special operations and/or intelligence, while about 54% of the signatories are retired service members, and the vast majority of signers overall saw combat while in the military, Fox News Digital learned.

  • Trump nominated Gabbard just days after his election win over Democrat Vice President Harris last month, arguing Gabbard will bring a "fearless spirit that has defined her illustrious career to our Intelligence Community, championing our Constitutional Rights, and securing Peace through Strength."

  • The director of national intelligence leads the U.S. intelligence community, which includes overseeing the National Intelligence Program and advising the president on security matters.

  • Gabbard has served as a lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserves since 2021, after previously serving in the Hawaii Army National Guard for about 17 years.

  • She was elected to the U.S. House representing Hawaii during the 2012 election cycle, serving as a Democrat until 2021. She did not seek re-election to that office after throwing her hat in the 2020 White House race.

  • Gabbard left the Democratic Party in 2022, registering as an independent, before becoming a member of the GOP this year and offering her full endorsement of Trump amid his presidential campaign.

  • She is anticipated to head to Capitol Hill this week to speak with members of the Senate Intelligence Committee and GOP leadership to rally support for her confirmation proceedings.

  • Critics have attempted to paint Gabbard as a national security risk who is sympathetic to U.S. adversaries, a narrative the veterans combated in the letter.

  • The veterans hit back at such critics, saying they are spreading "baseless lies" because they are "unable and unwilling to challenge the substance of her views."

  • "We are appalled by the baseless attacks questioning Tulsi’s loyalty to our great nation. For over 20 years and across multiple combat deployments, Tulsi has risked her life to defend the safety, security and freedom of the American people. These attacks insult not only her, but every one of us Veterans who have served our country," the letter reads.

  • "Tulsi’s patriotism, shaped on the battlefield, mirrors the values and aspirations of the American people far more than the failed policies of so called ‘experts’ in Washington, who have been part of the problem for too long."

  • The veterans in their letter celebrated that Trump and his upcoming administration have "a clear mandate to enhance national security without engaging in needless wars or infringing on civil liberties" and that Gabbard will "carry out that mandate" if confirmed.

Coolidge pantry receives certificate of achievement

Pinal Central

Key Excerpts:

  • COOLIDGE — Hope International Food Pantry brought a win to Coolidge by gaining recognition for their beneficial work.

  • Pastor Anthony and Audri Warren accepted a certificate of achievement on Nov. 14 at the pantry, presented by Congressman Eli Crane’s office.

  • “I think it was one of the greatest honors, right now, so far that we’ve got...,” Anthony said. “It was a great opportunity to let the community know and everybody know that what we’re doing is not in vain. We do this from our hearts and make sure that the people in this community are fed and they’re taken care of. That’s why we do what we do.”

  • During the October Chamber of Commerce banquet, the pantry received the Nonprofit of the Year award.

  • He knows they have better and greater things in their future; they’re on the right track.

  • It meant a lot to Anthony for Coolidge to receive this recognition as the city tends to be overlooked, he said.

  • He thanked Mayor Jon Thompson for showing up on the day they received the certificate; he’s always in their corner.

  • “This is a win for Coolidge, not just for us and our volunteers,” Anthony said. “It’s not me. I could never do all this stuff. I want to give my wife and all the volunteers the credit because they make this thing run ... That’s our goal is always to be the best that we can be.”

  • McKya Lamb started working for Crane’s office as a field representative three months ago. Her role involves being in communities when he can’t, such as regularly attending city and county meetings and community events.

  • She also meets with individual constituents that need help with federal agencies such as delayed tax returns, passport, disability and Social Security assistance, immigration cases and more.

  • The office has contacts with liaisons at federal agencies and can intervene on a constituent’s behalf.

  • They’d chosen the pantry to receive a certificate of achievement as it helps Coolidge in a meaningful way. It feeds up to 200 families per week from the area, based entirely on volunteer efforts.

  • Crane’s office has the opportunity to award certificates to businesses and organizations in Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District contributing to the community in meaningful ways. They felt the pantry was doing just that.

  • Lamb said the congressman remains an active advocate for small businesses, sitting on the Small Business Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives and a former business owner himself for years.

  • “He recognizes the vital role that these businesses play in local communities,” she said. “As such, he encourages our office to recognize small businesses that are making a difference, and we were inspired by the efforts of Hope International Food Pantry.”

  • “It’s an honor for me to pay tribute to these hardworking businesses and organizations on behalf of Congressman Crane,” she continued. “It’s fulfilling to see these people recognized for the work they are doing!”

  • As she covers Pinal County, she plans to actively keep an eye out for other organizations deserving of certificates.

  • She’ll also meet with constituents in each Pinal County city in the coming months. She encourages anyone having issues with federal agencies or topics Crane should be aware of to schedule an appointment with her via email or phone at 928-460-0809.

CASEWORK WINS:

Need assistance with a federal agency? Here's what some constituents from AZ-02 had to say about the recent assistance they received from our office:

Passport:

Dear Congressman Eli Crane,
Many thanks for your help!
After sending a request to you about my daughter ------'s passport processing delay, her passport was issued a week later.
I appreciate very much for your quick help to one of your constituents.

Best regards,

AZ-02 Resident

Lori,
I don't know what you did but wow! I just got my passport back in only 12 days even though they said 3 to 5 weeks for a renewal. So whatever you did I cannot thank you enough. After dealing with the state department for four years you got an answer for me in a couple of weeks for both of the things I needed.

Bless you and I hope others can benefit from what you can do.

AZ-02 Resident

Social Security:

Just wanna take the opportunity to thank you again for helping me with my disability. I believe the knowledge of Disability knowing that the congressman was looking out made a huge difference and speed things along. I enjoyed participating in the Phone live meeting last night [...]

Thank you again God bless

AZ-02 Resident

I am writing to let you know that SSA is in the process of processing a refund of the overpaid premiums. The agent informed me that once they determine how much, if any refund is due for part B, they will send a refund directly to my account.

Thank you, so much, for your support. After nearly two years, I honestly believed this issue would never be resolved. It’s difficult to find words to express my appreciation.

Sincerely,

DS

I just wanted to thank you again for coming to our rescue. You sure knew what you were doing and I am extremely grateful!

Visas:

I wanted to thank you so much for all your help on ------'s visa. I found out the other day that her visa was approved. If weren't for the help of your office I’m sure I would be still waiting. Again, thank you.

-Ed P.

Veterans Affairs:

Just a note of appreciation to you for your assistance with the VA Aid and Assistance Benefit for my dad. He has been approved for the benefit and has received the first monthly disbursement. Know that you made a huge difference in his life and he (and I) can now rest easier that he has a safe environment, food stability, a roof over his head and is receiving quality care. Our deepest thanks,

-Valerie B.

I received the packet of 75 pages of my Dad's USN records. Wow!!! When you say you can help, you mean it. My sister is beside herself with glee and shock that I received them so fast. I told her Rep. Cranes' crew is the best.

Sincerely,

-Thomas W.

Mr. Timm,

I recently reached out to your office for help with a financial matter, regarding a medical bill.

Thanks to you and your office, the matter has been successfully resolved in my favor.

No public servant have ever helped the way that you have.

I have no words to express my extreme gratitude!

Gratefully,

-Arnold A.

I can't express how grateful I am for your assistance in this. The timing was perfect, you saved a vet from being homeless. Thank you.

Other Assistance:

Julie, thanks for checking in on our progress. The gas line is installed and the gas meters should be in

place this week.

Thanks again for your assistance, I can't imagine where we would be without your help.

Bruce M.

Julie, I don't know what you did but THANK YOU! I received my refund Saturday, July 1, 2023. Now I can officially close my father's estate from 2019. I really appreciate everything you did to make this happen.

-Jane M.

Thank you so much for all of your help with our 2020 refund. I am so relieved it’s over.  I would still be waiting if not for your assistance.

-Suzanne S.

Dear Congressman Crane,

I sincerely thank you and your office for the actions taken in response to my June request for assistance with the ATF; I received approval of the Form 4 application today. Without your assistance I would have undoubtedly been waiting still.

-Ed H.

My Treasury account was unlocked this morning

As mentioned in Subject, it's unlocked a few months earlier Thanks to you and your office. God Bless you and all your work for Arizona and the USA. I'M a USAF 20 year vet. Live at the Wickenburg Ranch community. If you are in the area stop by for a Hello.

AZ-02 Resident

Hi Julie! I think the problem may be solved. I got a call from the head mail carrier in Flagstaff. She was able to open the mailboxes, told me that the keys for all my future neighbors were labeled and ready to distribute (as they moved in), and that mail delivery should begin on Friday. I so appreciate your help. If there's a problem I'll contact you, but if you don't hear from me, you can assume that the matter is resolved. I have never contacted a congressman's office before, but this has been a great experience. You were so helpful. Have a wonderful holiday!

-Jennifer P.
